MeldrumPlay

We are a group of local parents with young children who feel that the existing children's play facilities are inadequate, outdated and in poor condition. Click here for more details.

Bygone Meldrum

The "Bygone Meldrum" publications are produced by Meldrum & Bourtie Heritage Society (click here for newsletter). They contain a mixture of local history articles and photographs which stir memories of the burgh and district before the changes of recent years.

     

  

Editions 1-5 of "Bygone Meldrum" cost £5 each and can be bought in the town at Meldrum Motors, the Paper Shop and Berry's of Oldmeldrum.

"Famous Sons of Meldrum & Bourtie" at £1 and "Granny Manson's Recipe Book" at £3 are also available.

The aim of this site is to be able to provide information of interest to both local folk and visitors. It will contain information about Oldmeldrum to help you find out what is going on, where it's happening and who is doing it. Part of the site will contain up to date copies of minutes of the Community Council, the School Board and other groups who wish to make use of this medium.
