Primary School Parent Council During 2002, Oldmeldrum experienced a large and rapid growth in its educational facilities. The Primary School has undergone major expansion and refurbishment and will have classroom space for up to 1000 children. In addition, on a site to the west of the town, a brand new Academy has been built which will include a community centre also houses the re-located town library and police station.
These developments are highly significant and represent a major increase in educational resources for the town.
