Aberdeenshire Council has a policy of lifelong learning within a single
education service. The Community Education Centre is part of this service, and
is here to enable people from every part of the community to get together to
follow and interest or hobby, learn new skills or perhaps even to obtain a
formal qualification.
Areas of activity include pre-school provision, work with under 12's, youth work, adult education, educational opportunities for older people, development work with people who have special needs and community development projects.

Adult Basic Education
We can offer help with reading, spelling, writing, basic maths and English for speakers of other languages. These services are free and confidential. For more information contact Kathleen Preston on 01467 620218.

Children may only remain in the creche for up to two hours. Parents/Guardians who leave a child for more than the agreed time may be charged for additional creche worker time. A booked place is advisable for some sessions. Priority will be given to parents who are attending a class or group at the Community Centre.
